Things all potential players will need to know.

Tryouts will be held on Saturday January 12th in Yakima.  We will be at Kuhmler Field (Davis high school practice field) at 11am.

You will be asked to sign a waiver at the tryout releasing the team, league, and coaches of liability if you get hurt.  The team nor league provides insurance for the players.  All players are highly encouraged to have injury insurance before attending any practice with the team.

It was thought that all players were going to have to pay $200 this season but thanks to the Evergreen Football League that is no more. The EFL has redone the way that they are doing the team fees and allowing the teams to decide what to charge the players.

We have to have a certain amount of money paid to the league by certain dates if we want to continue to play in the EFL so we are implementing the following.

-Players who pay from their fee before January 1st will pay $100
-Players who pay from their fee between Jan. 1st-January 18th will pay $125
-Players paying January 19th and beyond will pay $150

Players will receive 2 season tickets when they pay their fee. These tickets are valued at $35 and are the players to do what they want with. Sell them and recoup most of your fee ore give them to family and friends.

Players this season will need to supply there own helmets, shoulder pads leg pads, black knee length socks, and cleats.  The team will still supply your home and away game jerseys and game pants. 

We will be practicing both Saturday and Sunday until the start of the season in mid March.  Practices usually start around 11am and last 2 1/2 hours.  After the season starts we will only practice once a week.  Practice will be on a Thursday night starting at 6pm and last about 2 hours.  With this amount of practice we are asking for a lot of commitment out of our players.  We will not be successful if we cannot practice because of players not showing up.  If you cannot sacrifice this much time to not bother trying out for the team.

Our first two practices will be Saturday and Sunday January 18th and 19th.  These practice will be in helmets only.  The next weekend (January 25th and 26th) we will be in shoulder pads and helmets.

We will have a 10 game schedule again this season.  Home games will be played at Zaepfel Stadium in Yakima.  All other games home and away will be played on Saturday evenings.  (schedule subject to change)

All returning players have first dibs on the jersey numbers.  New players will be able to request their number when the pay their team fee.  First come first serve.
